Three Months on One Page

A 3-month calendar is a handy middle ground. You see the month you are in and the next two, with enough room to write short notes. It is great for planning a school term, a project or a busy season at work.

The Four Quarters of 2026

Quarter Months Public holidays on the page
Q1 January to March New Year’s Day (1 Jan), Australia Day (26 Jan)
Q2 April to June Good Friday (3 Apr), Easter Monday (6 Apr), Anzac Day (25 Apr), King’s Birthday (8 June, most states)
Q3 July to September King’s Birthday (28 Sept, WA)
Q4 October to December King’s Birthday (5 Oct, QLD), Christmas Day (25 Dec), Boxing Day (26 Dec)

Q2 is packed with holidays. Q3 is the long, quiet one, so it is a good time to get big work projects done.

BAS Quarters vs Calendar Quarters

If you run a business, keep in mind that the ATO uses the financial year, which starts on 1 July. That means:

  • July to September (our Q3 page) is the first BAS quarter, due 28 October.
  • October to December (Q4 page) is the second, due 28 February.
  • January to March (Q1 page) is the third, due 28 April.
  • April to June (Q2 page) is the fourth, due 28 July.

Write the due dates on each page so they never sneak up on you.

Other Ways to Use It

  • School terms: most terms run for about 10 weeks, so a term fits on one page.
  • Sport seasons: plan training, games and finals.
  • Holidays: see the next three months and pick the best time for a trip.
